Please read these terms carefully regarding your stay, safety, and booking policies.
Operational Guidelines
Docking Regulation (5:30 PM)
Per Kerala Government regulations, all houseboats must dock between 5:30 PM and 7:30 AM. This is to protect the fishing nets laid by local fishermen in the backwaters. No engine-operated boats are permitted to move during these hours.
Night Occupancy & Curfew
All guests are requested to move to their bedrooms by 10:00 PM. The boat staff sleep in the common areas and require rest to prepare breakfast and ensure the vessel is ready for the morning cruise.
Itinerary Changes
Itineraries are samples and subject to change based on weather, arrival times, and physical ability. We reserve the right to alter schedules for the safety and comfort of all participants.
Route Modifications
Routes may be modified without prior notice due to weather or government advisories. Such changes are non-refundable as they are made in the interest of safety.
Cancellation & Refunds
Refund Policy
100% Refund for cancellations made 7 days or more before check-in.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 3–5 working days.
Rescheduling
Requests within 7 days are subject to availability and management approval.
Seasonal pricing differences may apply to rescheduled dates.
Special Conditions
Peak Season: During festivals and public holidays, special policies mentioned in your booking confirmation apply.
Force Majeure: In cases of natural calamities, government restrictions, or safety limitations, management reserves the right to offer rescheduling or refunds as deemed appropriate.
Liability & Disclaimers
Limitation of Liability
We shall not be responsible for any delays, alterations, loss, injury, or damage to person or property resulting from natural hazards, flight cancellations, machinery breakdown, civil disturbances, or acts of God.
Insurance
We do not provide insurance covering accidents, sickness, or theft. Visitors are strongly advised to secure travel insurance in their home country. All baggage and personal property are at the client's risk.
Images & Representation
Images used in itineraries are for representational purposes. Pricing is valid only for specified dates and boats. Adherence to time schedules is the responsibility of the guest; missed sightseeing due to guest delay is non-refundable.
Travel Warnings
Customers are requested to review government travel warnings. Booking with Kerala Cruise Line does not imply a warranty that travel to specific destinations is without risk.
